Where the basketball journey begins. 🏀

Basketball in Your Neighborhood is a Basel Basket program created to introduce young children to basketball in a fun, positive and professional environment.

Designed for boys and girls born in 2017 and younger, the program gives every child the opportunity to discover the game, develop new skills and enjoy being active – right in their neighborhood.

No previous basketball experience is needed. Through age-appropriate and engaging practices, our coaches introduce children to the fundamentals of dribbling, passing, shooting, coordination and teamwork, while keeping one thing at the center of every session: having fun and enjoying the game.

We believe the first experiences in sports matter. That’s why we focus not only on basketball skills, but also on confidence, movement, teamwork, discipline and making new friends.

Whether basketball becomes simply a favorite activity or the beginning of a bigger sporting journey, this is where it starts.

Our U8/U10 training group practices at the “Missionsstrasse” gym on Nonnenweg in Basel. The mixed-gender training group practices:

• Wednesdays from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Fridays from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Fridays from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
